Matt Mooney is co-founder and Managing Director of MPI Eden. He has spent the last two decades in retained executive search. Prior to MPI Eden, Matt spent ten years with Russell Reynolds Associates where he was a key member of the Global Technology Practice. As a Managing Director and Head of the Communications & Convergence Practice for the Americas, he had the opportunity to work with a number of leading companies around the world to recruit talent at the senior executive level.
In addition to his executive search and practice management responsibilities, Matt also participated in firm level initiatives including Leaders' Quest- India, and was a driving force behind the firm's recent Innovation Initiative. Prior to joining Russell Reynolds in 1999, Matt spent the first part of his career with Ray & Berndtson and Korn/Ferry International. Matt earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from Texas Christian University, where he was a regular on the Dean's List and a scholarship athlete on the football team.
Praf is co-founder and Managing Director of MPI Eden. He specialise in serving technology clients, with a particular focus on internet, communications and IT assignments. He is based in London. Praf has worked on senior-level assignments up to CEO level for established and start-up businesses in the UK, Europe and the US. He has spent a significant amount of time working for companies in the digital media ecosystem building executive and non-executive teams.
Praf has twenty years of executive recruiting and business experience and worked at Russell Reynolds Associates, joining them in 2000. Prior to this, he established the IT/Telecommunications practice of Nicholson International, a global executive search company. He started his career in executive search working for Millar Associates. Before starting his search career, Praf was a Senior Manager for Unilever plc, working in information technology, R&D and operations.
Praf received his BSc Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Salford.
Vivek is an Advisor to MPI Eden
Vivek is also Co-Founder of Aloe Private Equity, is an experienced international executive and proven entrepreneur with an in-depth background in building technology start-up companies.
Prior to Aloe, Vivek co-founded a number of high technology companies including VICOM Group International. He has held several senior executive management positions including Viventures (a USD$700m Venture Capital Fund as UK Managing Director), CIENA, Kymata, British Telecommunications PLC and Motorola.
Vivek is vice-chairman of Allied Technology Group, a 140 person environmental engineering company, focussed on waste water treatment, air pollution treatment for power plants and coal gasification with revenues of US$120m in 2006. He also sits on the boards of Maxsys, Recupyl and Greenko Group.
He has a BSc in Physics from Imperial College and a PhD from University of London (UCL). He holds several patents and has published many papers.
Ram focuses on senior commercial and technology leadership assignments operating across industry vertical segments within Europe and the US.
Prior to his career at MPI Eden, Ram worked in the Investment Banking industry where he held IT Project Management and Business Analyst roles within the front office with a particular focus on the Securities Lending, Derivatives, Energy Trading, Treasury , Fixed Income and Credit Trading. His career has spanned working across blue chip firms including Natwest Markets, Deutsche Bank, HSBC, Goldman Sachs, Lehman Brothers, Standard Bank and most latterly State Street Global advisors.
Ram received a BEng Hons degree in Engineering from University of Nottingham and an MSc in Computer Science from City University.
Taymour is responsibile for driving Talent Management services. He is a certified professional coach with a particular focus on leadership development having worked with business leaders internationally.
He has over twenty years experience in coaching and leadership positions. This includes seventeen years work experience with BP in a variety of senior roles and international posts across the globe including starting up new ventures and investments. His roles have included Head of Business Development where he masterminded the opportunity of bringing gas to the Colombian and South American market. Moreover, he was a member of the leadership team in delivering oil from green fields in Azerbaijan to one of the biggest pipeline projects in history. At BP he was part of the top high potential talent pool.
Taymour received his coaching certification through the International Coaching Federation, his MBA from University of Edinburgh and his BSc Degree in Chemical Engineering from University of Salford.
Kristi Rosenbaum has spent 15 years in retained executive search. Prior to MPI Eden, she worked in a global research and recruiting capacity for Russell Reynolds Associates as well as for smaller boutique firms in Washington, DC, Maryland, and Atlanta. Kristi’s expertise is in identifying and recruiting world class C-level talent in the technology sector, with particular emphasis on the media and cable sectors. She spent the first part of her professional career at ABC Network News. Kristi is a Trustee on the Birmingham Falls Foundation and graduated with honors and as valedictorian from The Pennsylvania State University.
